How it works

Your process,
step by step.

01

Document check

We review your passport, employment contract, and company documents and give you a clear checklist of what's needed.

02

RPTKA submission

We file the manpower utilisation plan with the Ministry of Manpower — typically approved in 2–3 weeks.

03

IMTA processing

Work permit recommendation issued by the Ministry — approximately 1 week after RPTKA approval.

04

VITAS telex

We coordinate with the Indonesian consulate in your home country for the visa telex.

05

KITAS conversion

Upon arrival in Indonesia, we accompany the conversion of your VITAS to ITAS/KITAS and register SKTT and STM.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions
answered.

What's the difference between KITAS and KITAP?+
KITAS (temporary stay permit) is valid 1–2 years. KITAP (permanent stay permit) is available after holding KITAS for 5 consecutive years. We handle both.
Can I start work before my KITAS is issued?+
No. Working without a valid work permit is illegal and carries penalties for both employee and employer. We process applications as quickly as possible to minimise any gap.
How long does Work Permit KITAS take?+
End-to-end, typically 4–8 weeks: RPTKA (2–3 weeks) + IMTA (1 week) + KITAS conversion (1–2 weeks). We give you a realistic timeline at the start.
Can my spouse get a dependent KITAS?+
Yes. Spouses and children under 18 can obtain a dependent ITAS based on the primary permit holder. We handle dependent applications alongside the main one.
What is RPTKA?+
RPTKA is a foreign worker utilisation plan that must be approved by the Ministry of Manpower before any work permit can be issued. Every company hiring foreign workers needs one.
What happens when my KITAS expires?+
We track your expiry dates and initiate renewal at least 60 days in advance. Missing a renewal results in overstay penalties.
