Frequently asked questions

Common questions
answered.

What's the minimum capital for a PT PMA?+
The minimum investment plan for a PT PMA is IDR 10 billion, with IDR 2.5 billion as paid-up capital. We advise on the most appropriate structure during the free consultation.
Can a foreigner be a director of a PT PMDN?+
Yes, but they will require a work permit (KITAS). We handle both the registration and the permit in one coordinated process.
How long does PT PMA registration take?+
Typically 18–25 business days from the date we receive all required documents. We track every step and update you throughout.
What sectors are restricted for foreign ownership?+
Indonesia's Positive Investment List (replacing the old DNI in 2021) governs sector access for foreign investors. We review your business activities against the current list during the consultation.
Do I need to be in Indonesia to register?+
No. The entire process can be completed remotely via power of attorney. We handle all in-person submissions and notarial requirements.
What happens after registration?+
You receive a compliance checklist covering annual obligations: tax filings, OSS updates, board meeting minutes, and license renewals. We offer ongoing compliance packages as well.
